Heaven's Kitchen at Howlong
Our chef in the kitchen always creates plenty of anticipation. Gordon Perry
has over 27 years experience as a chef starting as an apprentice at a small
restaurant before gathering world class experience at Hilton Hotels in
Sydney and Melbourne, the Observation City Resort in Perth, the Travelodge
in Sydney and two years in London before returning to Australia.

"This is a great opportunity and challenge for us to enhance
this restaurant's reputation for fine cuisine," Gordon said.
"We are using fresh local produce and offer an extensive
menu, but keeping it simple to make the most of the flavours
and tastes of each ingredient. We aim to have people enjoy
every morsel of every meal."

Gordon is leading the team in totally reorganising the
restaurant and kitchen to put his own, impressive, stamp on the
place; from stocking the kitchen to changes in the menu format.
"We want every aspect of the business to reflect nothing but the best
quality," he said.
Over spring Gordon said the menu would feature dishes reflective of the
season with lighter meals available alongside
the traditional fare, with spicy dishes, tasty, crisp, flavoursome salads
and the best seafood ready to satisfy customers tastes.

"We are working hard to enhance our reputation in the local area so that
diners know the short trip to Howlong will
be well rewarded with an unforgettable meal and service. Why not come and

The restaurant caters easily for a dinner for two or for larger family or
group gatherings right through to special
functions such as weddings, parties or conferences. And if you feel like
staying on after a meal don't forget the
Howlong Country Golf Club Motel overlooks the famous golf course and bowling
greens and is only 50 metres from
the clubhouse and pro-shop.
