The Howlong
Country Golf Club is a community not for profit business and as
part of its community involvement is delighted to assist
charity groups in raising funds. The Howlong Country Golf Club
aims to create a charity golf day which offers a fantastic golf
experience to all those involved whilst raising valuable funds
in a fun and enjoyable environment. Howlong Country Golf Club
can offer the following benefits for your Charity Golf Day:
Donation of Green Fees
The Club will provide access to the course at heavily discounted
green fees allowing your charity to charge
participants the normal rates with the discount going towards
the fundraising efforts. This is subject to
the charity being a recognised charitable organisation or as
approved by our Sponsorship Committee.
Sponsorship and Signage
The Club will offer the opportunity for the charity to display
sponsors signage on each hole of the course.
This represents a
great opportunity for the Charity to raise funds through
sponsorship.
Use of BBQ and Facilities
The Club offers the use of the Clubs BBQ’s and Outdoor Deck
for your charity golf day which provides the
ability for the
Charity to use volunteer staff to raise money through the sale
of food or inclusion of food in the
entry fee. Alternatively
our caterers can assist if required.
$1,000 Hole
in One Prize
Howlong Country Golf Club will offer 1 x $1,000 Golf Club
package to anyone lucky enough to score a hole
in one on the
nominated holes during your charity day.
Logoed Golf Balls
Supplement your day with logoed golf balls which can be
arranged with your charity logo. These can be used on
the day
to give to players or even used as an auction item where the
successful bidder could have their logo
printed on the golf
balls instead of your charity logo.
Nearest the
Pin
Howlong Country Golf Club will offer a voucher to the value of
$50 to the player that gets nearest the pin on
the nominated
hole during your charity day. Depending on the number of
participants in your event additional
nearest the Pin or
Longest Drive can be included.
There are
such great possibilities for fundraising activities and the
Howlong Country Golf Club are delighted
to support Charities in
raising funds whilst promoting the game of golf, physical
activity and having fun.
